A simple step-by-step guide to accessing your WordPress dashboard.
When your website goes live, you’ll have full access to make updates, post content, and review site performance. The first step is logging into your WordPress dashboard — your website’s control panel.
Here’s how to log in:
- Go to your login page.
Visit your website’s login URL. Most sites use a link like:yourdomain.com/wp-adminoryourdomain.com/wp-login.php - Enter your username and password.
Use the credentials provided to you at launch. These can be changed later if needed for extra security. - Click “Log In.”
You’ll be redirected to your website dashboard — the main area where you can edit pages, manage content, and view your site’s settings. - Optional: Save your login link.
Bookmark your login page so you can access it easily in the future.
Tip:
If you ever forget your password, click “Lost your password?” on the login screen to reset it. A password reset link will be sent to your email.
Keeping your login credentials private and secure helps protect your site from unauthorized access.
